PROJECT TITLE: Scott M. Leaman Elementary School Master Plan Project
PROJECT LOCATION: The Project Area is located southeast of the intersection of Caledon Circle and Brentford Circle in the City of Lincoln, CA.
(APNs: 327-010-012 and 327-010-014)
The Proposed Project would create a new elementary school on a currently vacant parcel. The Project site totals 14.2 acres and has been designed to accommodate an anticipated school enrollment of 650 students with future expansion potential to accommodate 150 more students for a total of 800. The school facility will occupy 9.4 acres with irrigated grass turf proposed for the remaining 4.8 acres. The Project will include the construction of three classroom buildings, one administration/multipurpose building, one library building, and various outdoor play areas, driveways, parking lots, and other uses. A future classroom building is also a part of the Master Plan project. Construction of the Proposed Project is anticipated to begin in 2019 and be completed by fall 2020. Construction of future classrooms will be dependent on student enrollment trends and available funding. It is anticipated that the future classroom will be completed around 2030.
PUBLIC REVIEW PERIOD: The 30-day public review period for the Mitigated Negative Declaration commences on September 25, 2018 and ends on October 24, 2018 for any interested and concerned individuals and public agencies to submit written comments on the document. Copies of the Mitigated Negative Declaration are available for review at the District office at the above address and the City of Lincoln Library at 485 Twelve Bridges Dr, Lincoln, CA 95648, as well as the following websites:
PUBLIC MEETING: The WPUSD School Board will consider the adoption of the Mitigated Negative Declaration at a future meeting to be determined.
NOTICE REGARDING PREQUALIFICATION
FOR TWELVE BRIDGES HIGH SCHOOL PROJECT
WESTERN PLACER UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
Notice is hereby given by the Western Placer Unified School District (“District”) that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors planning to submit a bid or proposal for the District’s Twelve Bridges High School Project (“Project”) will be required to prequalify pursuant to Public Contract Code § 20111.6 prior to bidding or submitting a proposal. Prequalification application packages are available on the District’s website (www.wpusd.org) or at the District’s main office located at 600 Sixth Street, 4th Floor, Lincoln, CA 95648. Prequalification application packets must be completed and returned to the District’s main office no later than 2:00 p.m., October 26, 2018.
This prequalification packet includes a questionnaire and financial statement, to be verified under oath. The District will use the information and documentation required by the packet to prequalify mechanical, electrical and plumbing subcontractors in accordance with applicable law.• Prequalification Packet
