NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Western Placer Unified School District acting by and through its Governing Board, is soliciting and issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) and will receive up to, but no later than 9:00 am, Tuesday December 21, 2017, submitted to: Western Place Unified School District, Attention: Stan Brandl, 600 Sixth Street, Suite 400, Lincoln, CA 95648 proposals from interested, established and experienced Firms for the implementation of Energy Efficiency Measures, as identified in the District’s approved Proposition 39 Energy Expenditure Plan. A Mandatory Meeting / Site Walk-Through will be held at the Western Placer Unified School District – District Office located at 600 Sixth Street, Suite 400, Lincoln, CA 95648 on December 11, 2017 at 9:00 am.

This solicitation is intended to establish a qualified contractor with whom District will enter into a Contract.  The selected contractor will perform the implementation of energy projects for District’s facilities and shall be free from conflicts of interest arising from relationships with potential suppliers, constructors, financiers, or owners of related projects or products.  Firms are to provide an RFP Response Package that includes the following: One original of each Respondent’s RFP Response Package as instructed in the RFP Attachment 1 – RFP Response Form and Questionnaire and shall be submitted to the District at the address listed in Section 9.0, before the RFP Response Deadline listed on the cover page. In addition, an electronic copy of the RFP Response Package must be submitted via email in zipped format, file transfer protocol, or cloud-based file sharing solutions to the District by way of the Contact Person information listed in Section 9.0. The RFP Response Package must include the RFP Response Forms and Questionnaire in the same order presented in RFP Attachment 1.  Respondents shall include a Table of Contents with the RFP Response Package, clearly label each section, and separate with tabs. In the electronic copy, each section shall be in separate folders with a Table of Contents document at the base folder level that lists the folder and file names. Where indicated, Respondents shall populate each template consistent with the format of the template and return in native format. For more specifics go to to the Prop 39 section.
