CAN I STILL REGISTER?

Yes!

We ARE still accepting registration for the 2020-2021 school year. While schools are currently closed, we do not have reason to believe the 2020-2021 school year will be impacted by current state of COVID-19 (coronavirus).

WHAT DO I DO?

Please follow the steps below to register your child. Please take note of the adjustments made for turning in documents to your school site. 

WHO DO I CONTACT?

If you have questions about registration, the school sites are answering phones every Thursday beginning April 16, 2020 from 9AM - 3PM. They will be able to assist you. 
You may also use the email contact list associated with your child's school site (located below) to send an email at any time.

Please read the information and follow all four (4) steps below to register your child.  All completed registrations forms, along with supporting documents, may be scanned & emailed into your child's home school (confirm child's home school here - For Leaman Elementary families, you must select 'Approved 2020-21 Boundary' before looking up your address). Please see the school contact list below to email your documents to the school office. These changes reflect the measures taken to maintain the state-wide shelter in place order.

2020-2021 Registration Process

All the required documents for registration that you will need to fill out and bring to your child’s school are provided and/or outlined below.  If you need assistance completing forms, please contact your child’s school beginning Thursday, April 16, 2020 from 9AM - 3PM, or call the WPUSD District Office. If you are having technical difficulty accessing the online registration system, please contact the Technology Department parentportalhelp@wpusd.org. We are happy to help!

Step 1 - Required Forms:

Complete each form below. Please note, these documents are required to be printed and turned in as part of your completed Registration packet.

  1. Residence Verification Form - English | Spanish 
  2. Special Programs/Health Concerns Form English/Spanish - this form is required, even if your child does not participate in any Special Education Programs

 * If applicable for your student, please fill out the following forms and submit with the forms above.

  1. Medication Administration Form  - English | Spanish
  2. Medical Special Accommodations Form - English | Spanish

Step 2 - Online Registration Application:

**IMPORTANT** AFTER SUBMITTING YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION, YOU MUST PRINT OUT YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION AND SUBMIT IT AS PART OF YOUR COMPLETE REGISTRATION PACKET.

Step 3 - Required Personal Documents:

  1. Proof of Age: Copy of County Issued Birth Certificate or Valid Passport
  2. Proof of Residency: Copy of Current Utility Bill, City of Lincoln Bill, OR Mortgage/Rental Agreement (Bills submitted for proof must be dated no earlier than November 2019)
  3. Proof of Immunizations: Copy of Immunization Record

Required Immunizations:

  • DTP - 5 doses (4 doses are acceptable if the 4th dose has been given on or after the 4th birthday)
  • Polio – 4 doses (3 doses are acceptable if the 3rd dose has been given on or after the 4th birthday)
  • Hepatitis B – 3 doses
  • MMR – 2 doses
  • Varicella – 2 doses               

Step 4 - Turning In Your Completed Registration Packet:

  1. Be sure your Registration Packet is complete (CHECK HERE)
  2. SCAN & EMAIL YOUR COMPLETE REGISTRATION PACKET TO YOUR CHILD'S HOME SCHOOL USING THE CONTACT LIST BELOW (emails are linked to the associated school site):

FAQ's

Q: When can I begin the registration process?
A: Online registration opens Monday, December 9, 2019 at 8:00am.
 
Q: Where do I turn in my registration packet once I complete all 4 steps?
A: Packets may scanned and emailed to your child's home school at any time (see step 4 of the registration process).
Q: Do I have to turn in my complete packet by a certain date?
A: We are currently accepting registration for the 2020-2021 school year. 
Q: What if my registration packet is incomplete? Can I still turn it in to reserve a spot for my child?
A: No, incomplete applications will not be accepted.
 
 
Q: Do I have to have my complete packet in by a certain date?
A: Yes. Complete registration packets are due by Wednesday, February 12, 2020.
 
 
Q: What if I do not want my child to attend our designated home school?
A: You may include an intra-district transfer form when you submit your registration packet. Forms are available on the district website and/or at your child’s home school. Note: You still need to turn in your packet to your child’s home school. Questions regarding INTRA-district transfers may be directed to your child's school.
