Children who turn five (5) on or before September 1, 2020 are eligible for Kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year.  Our Kindergarten program is offered at all of our elementary schools, with AM, PM and Extended-Day options.

Parent requests for AM or PM Kindergarten may be made to your child’s home school after registration is complete. Parents may request for Extended-Day Kindergarten in the Online Registration Application (Step 2). Those who have turned in their complete registration packet by the due date (2/12/2020) will be placed in the selection pool and chosen based on a lottery (not first come, first serve). Any registration packet turned in after the due date will be placed on a space available wait list. We will make every effort to accommodate all requests, but cannot guarantee requested placement.  For more information regarding specific requests, please contact your child’s home school upon completion of registration.

Please read the information and follow all four (4) steps below to register your child for Kindergarten.  FOR 2020-2021 REGISTRATION: All completed registration forms, along with supporting documents, may be turned into your child’s home school (confirm child's home school here - For Leaman Elementary families, you must select 'Approved 2020-21 Boundary' before entering your address). Leaman Elementary registration packets will be turned in to Lincoln Crossing Elementary. Forms and documents must be hand-carried to school offices by parents, not mailed in.

If you would like more information about our Kindergarten program, please contact Scott Pickett at (916) 645-6350 or email spickett@wpusd.org.
