Children who turn five (5) on or before September 1, 2019 are eligible for Kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year.  Our Kindergarten program is offered at all of our elementary schools, with AM and PM options.

Parent requests for AM or PM Kindergarten may be made to your child’s home school after registration is complete.  We will make every effort to accommodate all requests, but cannot guarantee requested placement.  For more information regarding AM/PM requests, please contact your child’s home school upon completion of registration.

Please read the information and follow the directions/steps below to register your child for Kindergarten.  FOR 2019-2020 REGISTRATION: All completed registration forms, along with supporting documents, may be turned into your child’s home school (confirm child's home school here). Forms and documents must be hand-carried to school offices by parents, not mailed in.

2019-2020 Registration Process

All the required documents for registration that you will need to fill out and bring to your child’s school are provided and/or outlined below.  If you need assistance completing forms, or need access to a computer/printer, please contact (or go to) your child’s school or the WPUSD District Office. Step 1 - Required Forms:

Complete each form below. Please note, these documents are required to be printed and turned in as part of your completed Registration packet.

Step 2 - Online Registration Application:

**IMPORTANT** AFTER SUBMITTING YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION (link goes live on 2/1/19), YOU MUST PRINT OUT YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION AND SUBMIT IT AS PART OF YOUR COMPLETE REGISTRATION PACKET.

Step 3 - Required Personal Documents:

  1. Proof of Age: Copy of County Issued Birth Certificate or Valid Passport
  2.  Proof of Residency: Copy of Current Utility Bill, City of Lincoln Bill, OR Mortgage/Rental Agreement (Bills submitted for proof must be dated no earlier than January 2018)
  3. Proof of Immunizations: Copy of Immunization Record
    Required Immunizations:
      • DTP - 5 doses (4 doses are acceptable if the 4th dose has been given on or after the 4th birthday)
      • Polio – 4 doses (3 doses are acceptable if the 3rd dose has been given on or after the 4th birthday)
      • Hepatitis B – 3 doses
      • MMR – 2 doses
      • Varicella – 1 dose               


Step 4 - Turning In Your Completed Registration Packet:

  1. Be sure your Registration Packet is complete (CHECK HERE)
  2. Check the date! Packets are now being accepted at your child's home school.

PLEASE NOTE: YOUR REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL YOU TURN IN YOUR COMPLETE REGISTRATION PACKET TO YOUR HOME SCHOOL.
