Bond History

Over the years, the Western Placer Unified School District community has played a significant role in helping improve local schools through voter-approved bond measures.

These investments have helped the district modernize aging campuses, build new schools to support growth, improve safety systems, and create learning environments better equipped for today’s students.

School bonds are one of the primary ways California school districts fund large-scale facility improvements and new construction projects. Unlike routine maintenance budgets that support day-to-day repairs and operations, bond funding is specifically used for major modernization, infrastructure, and school construction projects.

The support of our community through Measures A and N allowed WPUSD to make meaningful investments in both new and existing schools across the district. While important progress has been made, many facilities continue to age, and long-term planning remains essential as the district works to maintain and improve schools for future generations.
