Instructions: Selecting a Bus Pass

STEP 1: REGULAR VS. REDUCED PASS

From the options below, select either a regular priced pass or a reduced price pass. Only income qualified families may select the reduced price bus pass. See the reduced price eligibility scale below for maximum household income qualification.

Applicants may be eligible for reduced pricing based on the total number of individuals in the household and their annual income:

STEP 2: SELECT A PASS OR PUNCH CARD

Bus Pass Descriptions:

  • Annual Pass: Unlimited rides to and from school for the entire school year
  • 1/2 Year Pass: Unlimited rides for one semester 
  • One-way Pass AM or PM: Student rides only in the morning or only in the afternoon
  • Punch Card: 10 one-way rides (i.e. two holes will be punched if student rides to and from school in one day)​

Reduced Bus Pass Requirement
In order to be approved for a reduced bus pass, please use the link below to fill out the online household income form.
Please note, if you already completed this form, you do not need to again. 

Payment, Processing & Pick-up

Debit/Credit Card Payment

This form accepts credit card payments. There is a nominal fee to use the online payment services:

Debit Card 2% + $0.30
Credit Card 2.7% + $0.30
All other cards 2.9% + $0.30


Alternate Payment Methods

If you wish to pay with an alternate method, please indicate on this form below how you intend to pay. You must submit your cash, check or money order payment when you pick up your pass at our District Office. Checks may be made out to 'Western Placer Unified School District' or 'WPUSD'. We ask that you do not mail your cash or check payment. 

Reduced Payments
District staff will verify income eligibility for those who selected a reduced price bus pass upon pick up. If you incorrectly selected the reduced pass, we will ask that you pay the remaining balance prior to receiving your pass. 
 

Processing & Pick-up

Please allow 24 hours for your bus pass to be processed. You will pick up your completed bus pass at the District Office.* Payment will be verified upon pick up.

*Please note, bus passes will not be mailed to your home or sent to your child's school. They must be picked up at the District Office during business hours.
