Volunteers

Volunteering in WPUSD schools can improve the educational experience by sharing individuals' knowledge and skills with students while assisting in supervision to enhance productivity. WPUSD encourages parents/guardians and community members to get involved with our school communities.

How do I sign up?

If you are interested in volunteering at a school site, please contact the individual school directly for information about volunteer opportunities.

In most cases, volunteers must be cleared through WPUSD by completing the online WPUSD Volunteer Clearance Packet via Informed K12 before participating in school activities. This includes completing the WPUSD Volunteer Information Form, obtaining Live Scan clearance, providing the results of a current TB test, completing the Public School Works training course titled "M-1126 Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting – Training for Volunteers in CA," signing the WPUSD Volunteer Confidentiality Agreement, and acknowledging the WPUSD Workplace Violence Protection Plan.

The determination of whether a potential volunteer is cleared to be on our school sites is made solely at the discretion of the district.
