Dual Language Immersion Program:
Parents may request their child participates in the Dual Language Immersion Program. This selection can be made in the online registration application. Those who have turned in their complete registration packet by the due date (2/10/25) will be placed in the selection pool and chosen based on a lottery (not first come, first serve). Any registration packet turned in after the due date will be placed on a space available wait list. We will make every effort to accommodate all requests, but cannot guarantee requested placement. For more information regarding specific requests, please contact your child’s home school upon completion of registration.
STAR Program: Fee-Based Before/After School Program will be offered at following school sites:
- Carlin C. Coppin
- Creekside Oaks Elementary
- Foskett Ranch Elementary
- Lincoln Crossing Elementary
- Scott M. Leaman Elementary
- Twelve Bridges Elementary
Note: If childcare is essential for your TK student, we strongly recommend requesting an AM TK class. For families with students assigned to a PM TK class, we will be partnering with STAR to offer before school care from 8:00am to 11:20am. However, please be aware that the STAR program requires a minimum number of participants to operate. If the minimum is not met, we will unfortunately not be able to guarantee childcare for some PM TK classes.
STAR scholarships are available based on financial need. Complete the 'Funding Formula Data Collection' form located on the PowerSchool parent portal under 'General Forms'. Contact Julie Hayes (jhayes@wpusd.org) for more information.
C.A.R.E. Program: No-Fee Before/After School Program will be offered at the following sites:
