Student Wellness Committee & Policy

Western Placer Unified School District is committed to the optimal development of every student. The District believes that for students to have the opportunity to achieve personal, academic, developmental and social success, we need to create positive, safe and health-promoting learning environments at every level, in every setting, throughout the school year.

JOIN US FOR OUR NEXT STUDENT WELLNESS COMMITTEE MEETING

Western Placer Unified School District invites parents, teachers, students, administrators, health professionals, school food services staff, board members and members of the community to meetings about the student wellness policy.

A healthy school environment supports student learning and wellbeing. The student wellness policy helps our school create an action plan for nutrition education, nutrition promotion, and physical activity at school. At our wellness policy meetings, people are invited to share opinions and help make sure the policy is meeting the needs of our students.

We hope you will join us at our next meeting.
